Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 12, 2026
Plain-language summary: VecSynIQ is a local-first creative utility developed by Mrdzyn Studio for converting user-supplied artwork into vector, print-preparation, and cutter-ready outputs. You remain responsible for the artwork you import, the rights to use it, your export choices, and how files are used with cutters, printers, materials, or other production tools. VecSynIQ Pro may be offered through Apple or Google subscriptions, with RevenueCat used for entitlement management. Planned 3D/STL/3MF features are future roadmap items and are not part of the current VecSynIQ 1.0 service commitment.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using VecSynIQ, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the app.
VecSynIQ is developed and maintained by Mrdzyn Studio. These Terms apply to the VecSynIQ application, its current features, related documentation, subscription functionality, and any Mrdzyn Studio-provided updates or services made available for VecSynIQ.
Your use of VecSynIQ may also be subject to the applicable terms of the Apple App Store, Google Play, your operating system, and other services you intentionally use with the app.
2. What VecSynIQ Is
VecSynIQ is a creative image-to-vector and production-artwork utility. Current VecSynIQ 1.0 functionality may include features such as:
- Importing supported raster artwork such as PNG and JPEG images.
- Local raster-to-vector conversion.
- SVG export.
- Transparent PNG and print-preparation workflows.
- Layered Cut SVG generation.
- Cleanup and layer controls.
- Weld / planar union.
- Stacked and Sliced cutter geometry.
- Registration marks and weed boxes.
- Contour generation.
- Per-layer SVG export.
- Cutter Bundle ZIP export.
- Machine-profile readiness guidance for supported workflows.
Features may vary by platform, app version, operating-system capabilities, entitlement level, and release status.
3. Local-First Processing
VecSynIQ is designed so that core artwork processing occurs locally on your device.
The current VecSynIQ 1.0 workflow is not intended to upload your source artwork to Mrdzyn Studio merely to vectorize, prepare, weld, slice, contour, or export it.
VecSynIQ does not guarantee that all future features will necessarily use the same architecture. If a future release introduces optional cloud processing, remote AI, synchronization, or another material change in data handling, the applicable Privacy Policy and disclosures will be updated before that functionality is represented as covered by the current policy.
4. Your Artwork and Your Rights
You retain ownership of artwork, images, designs, files, logos, text, graphics, or other material that you import into or create using VecSynIQ, subject to any rights held by other parties.
Mrdzyn Studio does not claim ownership of your source artwork merely because you process it with VecSynIQ.
You grant VecSynIQ permission to access and process the files you deliberately select only to the extent reasonably necessary to perform the functions you request, such as vectorization, print preparation, cutter preparation, preview, save, or export.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use, reproduce, modify, convert, print, cut, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit any artwork you import or export.
You must not use VecSynIQ to knowingly infringe another person's copyright, trademark, design rights, publicity rights, privacy rights, contractual rights, or other intellectual-property or legal rights.
5. No Rights Clearance or Legal Determination
VecSynIQ does not determine whether artwork is copyrighted, trademarked, licensed, public domain, commercially usable, or otherwise legally cleared for your intended purpose.
The fact that VecSynIQ can technically process or export an image does not mean that you have permission to use that image.
Mrdzyn Studio does not provide copyright, trademark, licensing, intellectual-property, or other legal advice through VecSynIQ. If you are uncertain about your rights to use particular artwork, seek appropriate professional advice before producing or distributing it.
6. Production, Cutter, and Material Responsibility
VecSynIQ can generate files intended for use in design, print-on-demand, cutting, crafting, fabrication, and related production workflows. VecSynIQ does not directly control your cutting machine, printer, press, material, blade, mat, heat press, fabrication equipment, or other production device.
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing exported geometry before production.
- Confirming material dimensions and scale.
- Selecting appropriate machine settings.
- Performing test cuts, test prints, or sample production where appropriate.
- Following the equipment manufacturer's safety instructions.
- Confirming that registration marks, weed boxes, contours, layers, and cut geometry are appropriate for your specific workflow.
- Protecting people, property, materials, equipment, and production inventory from misuse or incorrect settings.
An SVG or other file successfully generated by VecSynIQ is not a guarantee that every machine, material, driver, import workflow, or production setup will produce the result you expect.
7. Machine Profiles and Third-Party Products
VecSynIQ may include machine-profile or workflow guidance for products or software associated with companies such as Cricut, Brother, Siser, or other cutter and production-tool providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these profiles indicate an intentional VecSynIQ compatibility or workflow target only.
They do not mean that VecSynIQ or Mrdzyn Studio is:
- Certified by the manufacturer.
- Officially endorsed by the manufacturer.
- Sponsored by the manufacturer.
- A replacement for the manufacturer's software or instructions.
- Guaranteed to support every device, firmware version, material, feature, proprietary project format, cloud service, optical print-and-cut system, or future software release from that manufacturer.
Third-party names, logos, products, software, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Cutter Geometry, Weld, and Separate Pieces
Certain VecSynIQ operations such as Weld, Stacked, Sliced, contours, and helper geometry are based on the actual geometry produced by the app.
A Weld operation may unite overlapping or touching geometry while still leaving intentionally or physically separated regions as separate cut pieces. VecSynIQ may warn when a layer contains multiple disconnected pieces, but it does not automatically add bridges or connectors unless a future feature expressly provides that behavior.
You are responsible for reviewing the final geometry and determining whether separate pieces are suitable for your intended production method.
9. Free Usage and VecSynIQ Pro
VecSynIQ may provide both free functionality and optional paid functionality under VecSynIQ Pro.
Free usage may be subject to limits, such as export quotas or feature restrictions, as shown in the app.
VecSynIQ Pro may unlock additional production, print-preparation, cutter-export, or other premium capabilities.
The exact allocation of Free and Pro features may evolve for future releases, provided that Mrdzyn Studio does not intentionally remove an active paid entitlement contrary to applicable app-store terms or mandatory consumer law.
Purchasing VecSynIQ Pro does not transfer ownership of VecSynIQ, its source code, branding, user interface, documentation, or other Mrdzyn Studio intellectual property to you.
10. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
VecSynIQ Pro may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Subscription options may include monthly and yearly plans. The exact localized price, currency, taxes, billing period, trial availability, introductory offer, renewal terms, and other transaction details shown by the applicable app store at the time of purchase control the transaction.
If you purchase an auto-renewable subscription:
- Payment is charged through your Apple Account or Google Play account after purchase confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically for the applicable billing period unless cancelled in accordance with the applicable store's rules.
- Renewal pricing and payment processing are handled by the applicable store.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription through the subscription-management tools provided by Apple or Google.
- Deleting VecSynIQ does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
- Cancellation generally stops future renewal while access already paid for may continue through the current billing period, subject to applicable store rules and local law.
VecSynIQ should provide access to the applicable platform's subscription-management process where required by store policy.
For Apple-distributed versions, Apple's applicable App Store terms, including the Apple Standard Terms of Use (EULA) where applicable, also govern the Apple-licensed copy of the app.
11. RevenueCat
VecSynIQ uses RevenueCat to help manage product offerings, purchases, subscription entitlements, subscription status, and purchase restoration.
RevenueCat does not replace Apple or Google as the payment processor for App Store or Google Play purchases.
VecSynIQ currently does not require a VecSynIQ account. The current subscription architecture uses an anonymous RevenueCat App User ID rather than a custom VecSynIQ account identity.
Additional information about subscription-related data handling is available in the VecSynIQ Privacy Policy.
12. Restore Purchases
VecSynIQ may provide a Restore Purchases function where supported by the applicable platform.
A successful restore may reactivate eligible VecSynIQ Pro functionality when Apple, Google, and RevenueCat report an active entitlement associated with the relevant store purchase.
Purchase restoration does not guarantee recovery of local artwork, exported files, locally stored app state, or files that were previously deleted from the device.
13. Subscription Expiration, Cancellation, or Revocation
If a VecSynIQ Pro subscription expires, is cancelled, refunded, revoked, or otherwise becomes inactive, future access to Pro-only features may be restricted.
Files you already exported normally remain your files, but Mrdzyn Studio does not promise permanent access to Pro-only generation or export functionality after the applicable entitlement ends.
14. Refunds
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to the applicable store's billing, refund, and consumer-protection processes.
Mrdzyn Studio does not directly receive or store your full payment-card information through VecSynIQ.
Refund eligibility may depend on the store, purchase type, timing, country or region, and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
15. Local Data and File Responsibility
VecSynIQ may store limited application state locally, such as preferences, entitlement/cache information, free-export quota state, and integrity information required to protect local usage limits.
Your imported artwork and exported production files may also remain in device locations or destinations you select.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of files that matter to you. Deleting VecSynIQ, clearing app data, resetting or replacing a device, removing files, or losing access to storage may cause local data or files to be lost.
Mrdzyn Studio does not guarantee recovery of locally stored artwork, settings, quota state, or exported files.
16. Export and Sharing
VecSynIQ allows you to save or share files you create.
When you deliberately export or share an SVG, PNG, ZIP, or other supported file, you are directing the operating system to provide that file to the destination you selected.
Third-party destinations such as cloud storage, email, messaging services, social networks, marketplaces, production vendors, print-on-demand platforms, or other applications operate under their own terms, policies, technical requirements, and privacy practices.
Mrdzyn Studio is not responsible for what a third-party destination does with a file after you intentionally send or upload it there.
17. Acceptable Use
You may use VecSynIQ only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
- Circumvent VecSynIQ Pro access controls, subscription validation, export quotas, integrity checks, or other technical protections through unauthorized means.
- Use modified, pirated, fraudulent, or unauthorized versions of VecSynIQ.
- Attempt to extract, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or derive VecSynIQ source code except to the extent such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or commercially exploit VecSynIQ itself or substantial portions of its proprietary code, interface, documentation, or branding without authorization.
- Use VecSynIQ in a way that violates applicable law or infringes another person's rights.
- Interfere with, damage, overload, or misuse subscription, store, update, support, or related third-party infrastructure used by VecSynIQ.
These restrictions do not limit rights granted to you under licenses for third-party open-source components included in VecSynIQ.
18. Intellectual Property in VecSynIQ
VecSynIQ, including its original software, branding, logos, user-interface elements, documentation, product terminology, original graphics, and other Mrdzyn Studio-created materials, is owned by or licensed to Mrdzyn Studio and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
The VecSynIQ and Mrdzyn Studio names and associated branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, certification, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
Third-party open-source components remain governed by their applicable licenses, and third-party trademarks remain owned by their respective owners.
19. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules, Mrdzyn Studio grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use VecSynIQ on devices you own or control as permitted by Apple, Google, applicable licenses, and applicable law.
This license lets you use the app; it does not transfer ownership of VecSynIQ or Mrdzyn Studio intellectual property to you.
20. Privacy
Your use of VecSynIQ is also governed by the VecSynIQ Privacy Policy:
https://mrdzyn.notion.site/vecsyniq-privacy-policy
The Privacy Policy explains VecSynIQ's local-first processing, file access, local app state, subscription-related processing, RevenueCat integration, support communications, retention, deletion, and privacy choices.
21. Third-Party Services
VecSynIQ may depend on third-party services for app distribution, purchases, subscription entitlement management, operating-system functions, file pickers, share sheets, and other platform capabilities.
Relevant providers may include Apple, Google, RevenueCat, device operating-system vendors, and destinations you intentionally use for exported files.
Mrdzyn Studio does not control the availability, outages, pricing systems, billing infrastructure, future policies, or technical decisions of those third parties.
Third-party services remain subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
22. Platform Terms
If you obtained VecSynIQ through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the app is also subject to applicable platform terms, payment rules, subscription rules, and license terms.
For Apple-distributed copies, Apple's Standard Terms of Use (EULA) apply where required by Apple.
Apple and Google are not responsible for VecSynIQ's creative-processing or cutter-preparation functionality except to the extent required by their own terms or applicable law.
If these Terms conflict with mandatory platform rules governing your download, purchase, subscription, billing, cancellation, refund, or license, the applicable mandatory platform rule controls to the extent of that conflict.
23. Availability and Changes
VecSynIQ may be updated, improved, modified, or discontinued over time.
Mrdzyn Studio may, subject to applicable law and store requirements:
- Fix bugs and security issues.
- Improve vectorization or geometry behavior.
- Change user-interface elements.
- Add, modify, or retire machine profiles.
- Adjust supported operating systems or device requirements.
- Add or remove future features.
- Modify future Free/Pro feature allocation.
- Change integrations when required by platform or technical changes.
Mrdzyn Studio does not guarantee that every current feature, third-party compatibility target, operating system, or external service will remain unchanged forever.
24. Future 3D, STL, and 3MF Features
Mrdzyn Studio may publicly discuss or preview planned VecSynIQ features such as local 3D model generation, interactive 3D preview, STL export, or 3MF export.
Unless and until those capabilities are included in a publicly released version of VecSynIQ, such roadmap statements, previews, mockups, documentation, or "coming soon" notices are informational only and do not create a contractual commitment to release a particular feature by a particular date.
Future 3D functionality may be changed, delayed, limited, or cancelled based on technical, quality, platform, safety, licensing, or business considerations.
25. No Guaranteed Production Outcome
VecSynIQ is a software tool that assists with artwork conversion and production preparation.
Mrdzyn Studio does not guarantee that:
- Every raster image will produce an aesthetically satisfactory vector result.
- Every exported SVG will import identically into every third-party application.
- Every cut file will produce a successful physical cut on every machine or material.
- Every color, contour, registration mark, weed box, layer, or geometry result will match a particular production process without user review.
- Every third-party design application will preserve VecSynIQ geometry exactly.
- Use of VecSynIQ will result in sales, commercial success, marketplace acceptance, or a particular print-on-demand outcome.
You should inspect important production files and perform appropriate test production before committing expensive materials, inventory, or customer orders.
26. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VecSynIQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Mrdzyn Studio does not warrant that VecSynIQ will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or third-party product, or suitable for every production method.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mrdzyn Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to VecSynIQ.
This may include, where legally permitted, losses arising from:
- Lost or damaged local files.
- Production mistakes or wasted materials.
- Incorrect machine settings selected by the user.
- Third-party software incompatibility.
- Marketplace or print-on-demand rejection.
- Lost profits, sales, opportunities, or customer relationships.
- App-store, subscription, network, or third-party service outages.
- Reliance on a generated vector, cutter file, machine-profile warning, or compatibility indication without appropriate user review.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
28. Indemnity for Your Content and Misuse
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims arising from artwork or content you provide, rights you do not possess, unlawful use of VecSynIQ, or material violation of these Terms.
This section does not require you to indemnify Mrdzyn Studio for liability that applicable law does not permit to be shifted to you.
29. Termination
You may stop using VecSynIQ at any time and may uninstall the app.
Mrdzyn Studio may suspend or terminate access to Mrdzyn Studio-controlled services associated with VecSynIQ, or take other reasonable protective action, if necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, unlawful activity, or material violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.
Because VecSynIQ 1.0 is primarily local-first and does not require a VecSynIQ account, uninstalling the application is generally the primary way to stop using the local app.
Stopping use or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an active Apple or Google subscription. Subscription cancellation must be completed through the applicable platform's subscription-management process.
30. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection or other rights that apply to you under the law of your place of residence.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court or other forum of competent jurisdiction as permitted or required by applicable law.
31. Changes to These Terms
Mrdzyn Studio may update these Terms when VecSynIQ functionality, subscriptions, platform requirements, third-party integrations, legal requirements, or business practices materially change.
When material changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
Continued use of a later VecSynIQ version after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
32. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
33. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the VecSynIQ Privacy Policy and applicable mandatory app-store or platform terms, form the agreement governing your use of VecSynIQ with respect to the matters covered here.
They do not override mandatory rights or obligations imposed by applicable law.
